Assistant coach – Forwards

The long-time development coach was appointed as the Eagles’ forward line mentor in October 2024 after extensive experience at Hawthorn and Adelaide.

Bello has coached his own team at Hawks-aligned VFL side Box Hill and was a development coach during Hawthorn’s golden era under Alastair Clarkson.

Most recently, Bello was Head of Development at the Crows for four years and he was involved in successful SANFL programs as a player for Central District, where he played in five premierships.
