Senior coach – Andrew McQualter

McQualter became West Coast’s seventh AFL senior coach when he was appointed to lead a new era in the days after the 2024 Grand Final.

The former St Kilda and Gold Coast player brings comprehensive experience to the senior job, and was a key part of Damien Hardwick’s coaching team during Richmond’s triple-premiership run.

McQualter also had a 7-6 win-loss record as interim coach in 2023 after Hardwick stepped down, before joining Melbourne as an assistant coach the following year.

Known for his relationship-building and tactical acumen, McQualter also has a strong development background.
