Assistant Coach - Midfield

Schofield returned to where his career began as a player heading into the 2022 campaign.

A skillful midfielder he played 63 games for the Eagles before being traded to Port Adelaide in 1998, where he played in Power’s 2004 premiership.

Schofield went on to coach Subiaco’s senior team, after a solid coaching apprenticeship, and guided the Lions to three premierships (2014, 2015, 2018) amid five-straight Grand Final appearances.

He then was an assistant coach with Port from 2019-21 before joining his original club as strategy and stoppages coach.

Schofield stepped up as interim coach following Adam Simpson’s departure in July 2024, coaching the Eagles to two victories from the final seven matches.
