The air was electric after the West Coast Eagles training session this morning and the players are counting down the days until they set off to the state’s beautiful mid-west.

Part of the AFL Community Camp program, West Coast Eagles players and officials will visit the city of Geraldton next week, from Monday, February 5 until Thursday, February 8.

Highlights include public training sessions at Wonthella Oval on Monday and Wednesday evenings, Footy Forums on Monday night and Auskick Clinics on Tuesday morning.

The players are also looking forward to the panel night on Tuesday, school, hospital and sponsor visits, the Kick in the Street promotion on Tuesday afternoon and a community barbeque on Wednesday evening.

An annual project, the community camps have been a huge success for the club since the program began in 2003.
