Supported by Channel 7 and Hungry Jack’s, around 200 schools were visited this year, allowing the club to meet close to 50,000 students and 5000 staff along the way.
The key messages of the program - healthy eating, healthy living and sportsmanship – continued to be well received though it was helped along by some very accommodating teachers. That was extended to the completion of a survey which provided the club with some very valuable feedback on the program and, as a result, Marion Burt (Samson Primary School) and Glen Davenport (East Kenwick Primary School) were randomly drawn to win a team signed guernsey for their school.
Eagles Rock My School looks forward to resuming in 2007 and wishes teachers, students and their families the very best for Christmas and the New Year.
