The 2020 campaign is in the books, and West Coast is already working hard behind the scenes to improve over the off-season.
While there remains uncertainty around list sizes and the salary cap for next year, the chance to bring more talent through the door at Mineral Resources Park is almost upon us.
From this Friday, the Free Agency period will be open, before the Trade Period officially kicks off on Wednesday, November 4.
The Eagles have already signalled their intention to deal for out-of-contract Greater Western Sydney small forward Zac Langdon, who is keen to return to Perth, when the trade window opens.
It promises to be a busy period for list manager Darren Glass and the club's recruiters also planning for the AFL Draft in the build-up to the return to training dates for the men’s squad.
The first-to-fourth-year Eagles will return pre-Christmas for a two-week training block from Monday, December 7 – the same week as the AFL Draft will be held on a day still to be confirmed.

West Coast currently holds picks 30, 49, 54 and 85 after trading a future first-round selection (currently pick 13) to Geelong last year to secure prized recruit Tim Kelly.
The entire Eagles squad will then be back on deck on Wednesday, January 6 to ramp up preparations for the 2021 season.
At this stage, round one is planned to commence as usual during mid-to-late March.
West Coast’s AFLW team will kick their second campaign off in early February, and be back for pre-season from Wednesday, November 4.
