Long-time West Coast Eagles supporter Jack Cowin has been announced as the No.1 ticketholder for the next two years.

Cowin, the owner of major partner Hungry Jack’s, was unveiled as the No.1 ticketholder by Chair Elizabeth Gaines during West Coast’s 2025 AFL Season Launch on Thursday morning.

“I am very pleased and honoured to have received the No.1 ticketholder for the West Coast Eagles,” Cowin said.

“I take it as a privilege to have received this and I’m very proud that my many years of being an Eagles fan has led to this honour.”

Cowin moved to Perth from Canada in 1969 and was amazed by fans’ passion after attending a State of Origin match when Western Australia defeated Victoria.

He soon struck up a friendship with club pioneers Terry O’Connor, Murray McHenry and Neil Hamilton as the West Coast Eagles were making their way in the national competition and has remained a fanatical supporter ever since.

“I’m a died in the wool, loyal Eagles follower. I live in Sydney but you can watch every game on TV, which is terrific,” Cowin said.

Cowin’s restaurant business Hungry Jack’s has become synonymous with the club.

Hungry Jack’s has taken pride of place on the front of West Coast’s guernseys for all four premierships and been a club partner for more than 30 years.

The partnership now extends across the club’s AFL, AFLW and WAFL teams and provides fans with the opportunity to meet players across the Hungry Jack’s extensive store network.

“We are absolutely delighted Jack will be the West Coast Eagles’ No.1 ticketholder for the next two seasons,” Chair Elizabeth Gaines said.

“Jack’s loyalty and passion for the club is unquestionable, and Hungry Jack’s has been a wonderful partner of the West Coast Eagles for more than three decades.

“It is one of the most remarkable and enduring partnerships in Australian sport and we couldn’t be more pleased for Jack to become our No.1 ticketholder.

“We would also like to take this opportunity to thank club director Jan Cooper as she completes her tenure as the previous No.1 ticketholder.”
