Border Patrol wraps up in the wheatbelt
Led by dual premiership player Glen Jakovich, the Border Patrol crew has been causing some mischief in the northern wheatbelt this week.
Jako and his team visited Moora Primary School and St Joseph’s Primary School on Monday, before hosting a sausage sizzle event at Moora Toyota later that evening.
There’s no rest for the wicked, and Border Patrol hit the road the next day, arriving in Geraldton to drop in on students at Mt Tarcoola Primary School, Rangeway Primary School, St Francis Xavier Primary School, St John’s Catholic Primary School, Geraldton Primary School, Waggrakine Primary School, Bluff Point Primary School, Allendale Primary School, Beachlands Primary School and St Lawrence Catholic Primary School. Geraldton Toyota also played host to a public barbeque during this jam-packed visit.
Inaugural squad member Phil ‘Magic’ Narkle has now taken the reins, and his Border Patrol team has a big day ahead with planned visits to Carnarvon Christian School, East Carnarvon Primary School, St Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School, and Carnarvon Primary School.
After all that hard work, Phil is looking forward to getting stuck into the snags at Carnarvon Toyota’s sausage sizzle later this evening to wrap up another fantastic Border Patrol adventure.
