Three of the most iconic guernsey numbers in West Coast Eagles history will have new bearers in 2025.

Recruits Liam Baker and Jack Graham have assumed the famed No.3 and 17, respectively, and draftee Tom Gross has taken on No.27.

Baker moves into the No.3 after decorated dual All-Australian wingman and 2015 Club Champion Andrew Gaff called time on his career at the end of last season.

He will be just the fourth Eagle to wear the esteemed number and will continue a legacy built by champions Chris Mainwaring (201 games, two premierships), Brownlow medallist and 2006 premiership skipper Chris Judd (134) and Gaff (280).

Graham becomes the first owner of the famous No.17 since goalkicking superstar Josh Kennedy retired at the end of 2022.

He is set to become only the fourth Eagle to play a game in the guernsey, joining Kennedy, former captain and dual premiership star Guy McKenna (267 games) and '06 premiership player Daniel Chick (103).

Fellow recruit Matt Owies is next to Graham’s locker in the No.16 jumper, previously worn with distinction by 2014 John Worsfold medallist Eric Mackenzie in 147 games.

Top draftee Bo Allan has selected No.26. which has premiership players Jason Ball (1994) and Sam Butler (2006) among its former bearers.

Gross moves into the No.27 worn by star forward Jack Darling for the past 14 seasons and 298 games, with dual premiership-winning centre half-back Glen Jakovich forging the beginning of its outstanding legacy in the 1990s and early 2000s.

Lucca Grego has chosen No.31, most famously worn by defender Will Schofield in 194 matches, including the 2018 Grand Final victory.

Jobe Shanahan has No.35 for next season, while Malakai Champion (37) assumes flag-winning duo Tom Barrass and Adam Selwood’s old number.

Hamish Davis takes on the No.38 borne by 2006 premiership player Brett Jones in 102 games.

Meanwhile, Ryan Maric (formerly No.41) has shifted numbers for next season, donning the No.23 previously worn by champion defender Darren Glass (270 games) and fellow premiership-winning Eagles backman Lewis Jetta.
