Let’s go get the Giants!

Well guys, it was a tough Derby Day. I was so excited for win, but it just wasn’t meant to be.

There’s no hiding it, when you don’t kick goals, you can’t win games. The boys unfortunately missed too many shots on goal and they know it too.

Despite the loss to Fremantle, the game was still a good time, I think my favourite part (outside the footy, of course) was the fan zone!

I was at gate 10 before the game, and did some kicking practice, got a free drink bottle and tried a handball competition too! The folks in the office said that it’s on again this weekend, I can’t wait to have some more fun before we play the Giants.

Now, back to footy. The Giants are a young side and have looked pretty strong early in the season, collecting a win against our old rivals, the Sydney Swans in round one. Our boys will be looking to kick those goals and take home our first win in a while.

Mark LeCras is back for the Eagles this week and I’m sure he wants to kick a bag-full of goals! The Giants have never beaten the Eagles, in 2012 we beat them 155-55 and in 2013 we won 150-69, kicking 23 goals in each game.

I nearly forgot! This weekend is Mother’s Day! What better way to celebrate with your mum than coming to the Eagles game!
