The West Coast Eagles have signed 22-year-old Sandy Brock on a rookie contract for the 2025 season.

Brock joined the club in November as a Supplemental Selection Period train-on, and the former Gold Coast Suns defender impressed on the track over summer.

No stranger to Perth, the Palmerston product spent 2021 playing for Peel Thunder in the WAFL, before joining Gold Coast via its partnership with the Northern Territory.

Brock played 18 games in the VFL in 2024, and at 198cm, will add to the Eagles' tall defender stocks for the upcoming season.

“Sandy has been impressive with his work as a key defender,” General Manager Football Gavin Bell said.

“He’s got a really strong athletic profile and has shown his ability to intercept the ball and provide a contest down back.

“We’re very excited to have him and his family join our club.”
