The West Coast Eagles, together with Principal Community Partner BHP Billiton, were delighted to launch a new community campaign at the club’s season launch yesterday culminating with the reveal of the 2015 community television commercial.
During the launch at Crown Perth’s Grand Ballroom BHP Billiton were acknowledged and thanked for their loyal support as a 10-year partner of the club. Without BHP Billiton’s tremendous support, the West Coast Eagles couldn’t deliver their community programs to students across the state.
This year’s commercial was filmed at, and with, the support of staff and students from Inglewood Primary School, and stars 10 year-old Jazara Scott, an aspiring actress, alongside Eagles star Nic Naitanui.
Also making cameo appearances are Phil Narkle (West Coast Eagles Indigenous Liaison Officer) and Jacinta Anderson (Wirrpanda Foundation Role Model).
Together BHP Billiton and the West Coast Eagles inspire 150,000 students from 660 schools across Western Australia each year, helping them reach their potential through the Eagles in the Community programs.
These programs include the Eagles Rock My School, High Schools programs, Kicking Goals, BHP Billiton Indigenous Leadership Program, Eagles Cup, Eagles Faction Footy, Eagles Schoolboys Cup competitions.
