I do love beating those pesky magpies!
All the boys are firing and it’s just the right time! Call me crazy with confidence but I think we can sneak into the top eight and have a run in September! We’ve got the forwards, we’ve got the backs and our midfield are absolutely hitting their straps.
And how about the guy called Matt Priddis. Talk about an All-Australian. The man with the curls had 42 possessions, 12 clearances and a goal to top it all off! It was only right that he won the AFL’s Player of the Round award.
Anyway, on to this week!
I’ve just arrived in Melbourne and the weather is fantastic. I’m ready to hang out with all of our Melbourne and travelling fans at the game against the Bombers on Saturday!
It’s a big game, the town is talking about it! Jobe Watson is back for Essendon and Etihad is going to be filled with Essendon supporters so I’m tipping it will be a close affair.
However, I am a believer in momentum and the football gods. And I think both are on our side for this weekend’s game.
