Smiles all round when Darling pops in
Jack Darling enjoyed the afternoon with Ronald McDonald House Perth
Darling, who was named as ambassador for the charity in WA last year, was thrilled to be able to spend some time in the house and put some smiles on the kid’s faces.
“It’s great to come here and spend time as much as I can,” he said.
“I’m very lucky with the job that I have, that I have the time to be able to do this type of thing.
“I’m really happy to be able to hopefully inspire some of the kids, because they look up to me, and I can turn that into something good.”
Darling was joined by Neami National, a community-based mental health service and representatives from Hale School’s ‘Big Brother’ Program, four young men who visit the house every Wednesday afternoon, in brightening the lives of the children at Ronald McDonald House Perth for the afternoon.
