Forwards Coach

Originally from Victoria, Rohan McHugh started coaching in his hometown of Wedderburn where he coached the U16s from 2013 to 2014, winning a premiership in the 2014 season.

In 2015, McHugh moved to Western Australia and became a PE Teacher at SEDA from 2015 to 2018 before moving to WAIS to work in Athlete Wellbeing and Engagement. During this time McHugh continued his coaching with West Coast Amateur Football Club winning a premiership in 2021. The same year McHugh was at Hockey Australia in a similar role before moving to the Eagles as Head Coach of Academies and backline coach for the AFLW program. Ahead of the 2024 season, McHugh has had a role switch and will guide the forwards for the upcoming season.
