Opportunity could knock for a cluster of emerging players who were a part of the West Coast Eagles travel party that headed to Melbourne today.
Emerging defender Luke Foley, ruckman-forward Bailey Williams and midfielder Luke Edwards were all on board with the travelling squad. Should Edwards be selected he would make his senior debut after being drafted last year.
With two members of the 2018 premiership team, utility player Liam Duggan and ruckman-forward Nathan Vardy, not making the trip there will be at least two places vacant.
Foley has been in good form and made his AFL debut along with Williams, who has been building after a pre-season injury interruption.
