Originally from Broome, Davison burst on to the scene recently. The 19-year-old was playing local footy in 2018 before stepping straight into Swan Districts' WAFLW team last year. A versatile forward, she's strong overhead for her height and reads the play well. Davison has a powerful jump and is a steady set shot at goal.

"Shanae was part of our AFLW program last pre-season as a train-on. She is a player who has moved down from Broome from a different sport but taken up the game and been a duck to water. We are really lucky to have picked her up at Pick No.18. She is a forward who can mark the footy really well and has really good goal sense. She will fill a gap in our list that we really need. We’re excited to bring her in. She knows out players and she knows out system. I think it will be a seamless transition to AFLW for her."
