Willie Rioli has played four finals without a loss – three in the 2018 premiership run against Collingwood, Melbourne and Collingwood (again) plus the 2019 elimination final against Essendon before he missed the 2019 semi-final loss to Geelong through suspension. Daniel Venables has three finals without a loss – the same three in 2018 – to sit next on the list.

He lost two finals in 1995, missed the club’s two finals in 1996 (when they had one win) and then lost two finals in 1997 and one in 1998 in what was his 82nd He added 17 games without a finals appearance in 1999-2000 to fall one game short of triple figures.
