West Coast’s home stint will end after next Sunday’s clash against Greater Western Sydney, with the club set to hit the road to finish the regular season.
The League has decided to send the Eagles back to Queensland, starting with a blockbuster against reigning premier Richmond at neutral venue Metricon Stadium.
That match will be four days after the Giants encounter on Thursday, August 27 at 7.10pm local time.
West Coast will then take on Essendon back at the Gabba off a five-day break on Tuesday, September 1 at 8.10pm.
Following that, the Eagles return to Metricon to meet the Western Bulldogs (Sunday, September 6 at 6.10pm) and St Kilda (Thursday, September 10 at 7.10pm) awaits at the Gabba in round 17.
North Melbourne will be the final side West Coast meets in the home-and-away campaign in round 18, with the date and venue to be determined.
The fixture release means the Eagles’ next two games at Optus Stadium against Hawthorn and the Giants on consecutive Sundays will be the last opportunities for fans to watch the side live in action before the end of the home-and-away season.
