Eagles to sweep through Broome
West Coast will visit Broome later this month as part of the AFL Community Camp program.
The camps have become an important part of the club’s commitment to the community, and since the initiative was launched in 2003 West Coast has visited Albany, Kalgoorlie, Esperance, Geraldton, Narrogin, Karratha, Port Hedland, Mandurah, Carnarvon and Exmouth.
Broome residents will have the rare chance to meet their football heroes on Tuesday, November 29 and watch the squad in action on Wednesday, November 30 and Saturday, December 3.
Tuesday, November 29
6pm: Superclinic at Male Oval
7pm: Panel Night at Coco’s Lounge, Mangrove Resort Hotel ($5, all proceeds to the West Kimberley Football League)
Wednesday, November 30
7am: Open training session at Father McMahon Sports Field
11am: Coles China Town (corner Short and Carnarvan Streets)
Saturday, December 3
11am: Open training session at Father McMahon Sports Field
The squad will conduct a number of additional school and community visits during this time.
All fans are encouraged to come along to these events.
West Coast is also giving one lucky primary school aged Broome resident the chance to win a West Coast Eagles guernsey signed by the entire team. This fantastic prize will be presented to the winner by two players at Tuesday’s superclinic.
