The West Coast Eagles squad yesterday showed their support for young Swan Districts footballer Luke Adams, donning white arm bands at training to help raise awareness for the Luke Adams Foundation and their ‘Enough is Enough’ campaign, aimed at eliminating violence in the community.

In addition, the run-through banner for this Friday night’s game against Geelong will also feature the statement: 'West Coast Eagles supporters say NO to violence', as a show of solidarity in encouraging all members of the community to show respect and take responsibility for their actions.

Adams, who is still in a critical condition after suffering life threatening head injuries in an altercation in Northbridge in May 2011, is a friend and teammate to a number of players and staff at the club, with his situation greatly impacting many who know the effervescent 19-year-old.

The family of Adams have recently launched the Luke Adams Foundation, which aims to put a stop to violence through the raising of funds for education and intervention programs.
