West Coast Eagles inaugural captain and former Brownlow medallist Ross Glendinning will hit the road in WA’s south this week for the club’s latest community program, Border Patrol.
The brand new program, proudly supported by Toyota WA, will see the West Coast Eagles take football right across the state, visiting communities all the way from Albany to Broome.
With the first leg of the regional roadshow kicking off Monday May 7, Glendinning, along with West Coast and Toyota staff, will be visiting schools and communities in Albany, Manjimup, Katanning and Narrogin.
“We’re very excited about Border Patrol and the prospect of being able to visit fans all across WA,” Glendinning says.
“We’ll be visiting schools for reading sessions, football sessions and talks with local students. And we’ll also be popping in to regional Toyota WA dealerships across the state for local communities to come together for a barbeque and meet and greet with the Border Patrol crew.
“For this first leg of Border Patrol, we’re visiting Albany Toyota, Manjimup Toyota and Great Southern Toyota. We’d love everyone from the local communities to come down to these dealerships for a barbeque with the Border Patrol crew.
“The West Coast Eagles Football Club has fans all over WA, not just in Perth, so we’re really looking forward to being able to visit our regional supporters and having the support from Toyota WA to do so,” Glendinning added.
Ross Glendinning and Border Patrol will be at the following Toyota dealerships this week:
Monday, May 7: Albany Toyota, 4.30 - 6.30pm
Wednesday, May 9: Manjimup Toyota, 4.30 - 6.30pm
Thursday, May 10: Great Southern Toyota, 4.30 - 6.30pm
