The pre-sale window for West Coast members for the RAC Derby has been temporarily suspended.
Following a recommendation from the WA Government, all ticket sales for the RAC Derby to be held on Sunday 19 July at Optus Stadium have been temporarily suspended pending the Government’s review of the easing to Phase 5 restrictions.
Pending the outcome of the review, tickets will go back on sale once the review is complete.
West Coast's pre-sale window was due to open at 9am on Tuesday, July 7 - a day after tickets went on sale for Dockers members for the Fremantle home game.
West Coast CEO Trevor Nisbett said the club was still hopeful a capacity crowd of 60,000 fans would be allowed to attend the game.
“The health and safety of the community is the priority and we understand the State Government’s recommendation to temporarily suspend ticket sales for the RAC Derby while reviewing the move to Phase 5 of WA’s roadmap to relax COVID-19 restrictions,” Nisbett said.
“We remain optimistic the RAC Derby will go ahead with a capacity crowd and look forward to seeing our amazing members back at Optus Stadium very soon.”
