Rick's Blog: Round 15, 2014
Two in a row and onto those pesky Dockers!
How sweet it is! The boys and I had such a great trip to Melbourne, catching up with the fans before, during and after the game at Etihad Stadium.
Matty Rosa was certainly the best on ground for me, having a massive afternoon, with 37 touches. Beating the Saints was important for the club and I was pleased with how the boys held on late in the game.
And how about Jeremy McGovern! Coming on strong in his fourth game for the club with another three goals! He’s a big boy and he’s already got a lot of fans, he will be an important player for the future of the Eagles.
Jack Darling also got back into goal kicking form, booting three for the Blue and Gold! Great to see him firing again.
Onto the Derby!
Sheesh Freo are a good side, but I think we’re ready to beat them! Nic Nat is coming into his best form of the year and our forward line is looking dangerous.
Be on the look-out for Fyfe, Barlow and Ballantyne on Saturday, the Dockers are packed with talent and will be keep to keep their Derby run on track.
Hope Dean Cox gets a good run – missed him the last two weeks!
Go Eagles!
Love Rick.
