Over the last 11 years, the West Coast Eagles’ annual Dig Deep Day has grown into a charity powerhouse and has seen the West Coast Eagles become one of the largest corporate donor to the Cancer Council of WA across the state.
West Coast has again teamed up with Caltex and the Cancer Council WA for the annual ‘Dig Deep Day’ game on Saturday, August 23 at Domain Stadium.
Dig Deep Day has continued to be a great success, with the 2014 campaign raising a massive $142,000 for cancer research and took the total fundraising amount to over $1 million. Eagles members and fans are again encouraged to get behind the cause to help raise much needed funds to aid the fight against cancer.
The aim of this year’s Dig Deep campaign is to raise a further $100,000 for Cancer Council WA.
The club’s Cancer Council WA ambassador Luke Shuey is encouraging Eagles supporters and footy fans to buy special $5 Dig Deep wristbands to wear at the Dig Deep Day match when the West Coast Eagles take on the Bulldogs.
The Dig Deep wristbands are on sale now at Caltex service stations, the West Coast Eagles Team Store and the Cancer Council WA shop in Subiaco. They will also be available at the ground before and after the round 21 game.

All the money raised from the Dig Deep campaign goes to the Cancer Council Western Australia.
Since it’s berth in 2005, the annual ‘Dig Deep Day’ campaign has been an amazing success, raising well over $1,000,000 going to those in need.
This is the seventh year Caltex have come on board to support the Dig Deep campaign, providing their stores at locations for fans to purchase Dig Deep fundraising items. The West Coast Eagles Football Club would like to thank Caltex, its staff and its franchisees for supporting the Dig Deep campaign again for 2015.
