Can you guess where I am? Let me give you a hint. The rest of the team just landed for their game on the weekend. That’s right, I’m in Adelaide! The boys asked me to fly over and check things out for them, and I just couldn’t say no!
How good was the win last week against the Bulldogs? My neck was so sore in that first half with the ball racing between ends, but I LOVED the second half. The last quarter made me jump and yell and clap and cheer, and I haven’t stopped smiling since. It was great to see Nic Nat back dominating, and JK? Well, when I asked him to go out and kick 7 goals, he said “no worries, Rick”, and went out and did it. He’s awesome.
But we’ve got the Crows this week and it’ll be tough. They’re playing some cracking football, but I think we’ll be alright. We haven’t lost at the Adelaide Oval yet, and while I’m already picturing all the great goals we’ll kick on Sunday.
I know you can’t wait for the game, neither can I. Just the thought of Gaffy and the boys running through the midfield, kicking to Lecca, Jack, Hilly, Crippa and JK makes me wish I was out there with them!
