The West Coast Eagles and the West Perth Football Clubs held a pop-up footy centre at St Mark's Harmony Day School Fete and then at Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City on Saturday, promoting cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home as part of Harmony Day 2015.
Both events were well attended, with shoppers and supporters flocking to meet Falcons players including Seva Martin, Zac Saunders, Max Alexander, Ben O’Regan and Riley Dolman and West Coast Eagles players including Jack Darling, Mark Hutchings, Will Maginness and Damien Cavka.
Congratulations to the three winners of our ‘Harmony Day’ competition - Bianca Willder, Claire Stevanovski and Ben Jones - who showed an impressive depth of cultural knowledge by correctly answering the question “What is Harmony Day all about?”
Bianca won the $100 Lakeside Joondalup shopping voucher (thanks to Lend Lease), Claire will take home a West Coast Eagles 2014 team-signed football and Ben scored himself a fantastic Falcons junior supporter pack full of goodies!
Thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate Harmony Day.
