As we move past the halfway point of the year, The Eagles Rock My School program presented by Hawaiian, has enjoyed another successful school year, visiting countless schools across Western Australia.

So far this year the team has conducted over 180 school visits and engaged over 25,000 students delivering positive messages about health and wellbeing and resilience to students, with everyone’s favourite mascots, Rick and Rosie the Rock!

Not to be outdone by Rick and Rosie, West Coast's dedicated AFL and AFLW Eagles Rock My School ambassadors have been busy running football and reading sessions to schools providing positive role models as well as giving students some helpful footy tips for their own football journeys. Hopefully we find our next Eagles superstar!

Highlights of the semester include our Glendale and Hillarys Primary School visits which showed the club they still have some great support in the community. Kensington Primary School’s ‘Walk Safely to School Day’ was also a huge highlight assisting kids walking to school and promoting the benefits of physical activity.

Without the generous support of Hawaiian, we wouldn’t be able to offer this program free to schools across WA and engage with the vast number of students we have been able to this semester.

As we edge closer to the Term 3 holidays there is still time to register your school for a visit from the Eagles this year and join in on the fun had by many schools over the course of the year so far.

If you would like the West Coast Eagles to visit your school, book online or contact the West Coast Eagles Manager – Education, Bradd Dalziell at braddd@wce.com.au.

We look forward to rocking your school soon!
