The launch included a jumper presentation for the 11 new recruits who have been welcomed into the side in the off-season, including Octavia Di Donato who was only signed days prior to the launch, and participated in her first training session earlier Wednesday afternoon.

Octavia Di Donato presented with her #33 jumper by Rhett Bazzo.

As has been tradition in previous years, the jumpers were presented to the AFLW players on stage by the AFL player who shares the same number, in a vision of unity and camaraderie between the programs.

Head Coach Daisy Pearce addresses attendees

New senior coach Daisy Pearce gave an incredibly inspiring address to the room, sharing her journey, her drive, her ambitions and visions for the team this season and beyond.

The event also saw an on-stage Q&A with inaugural and current Eagles’ captain Emma Swanson, and a player panel including Jess Hosking, Jess Rentsch, Matilda Sergeant and Roxy Roux.
