Four West Coast Eagles big guns will return for the RAC Derby against Fremantle at Optus Stadium on Saturday night.
Midfield powerhouse Elliot Yeo, four-time all-Australian Jeremy McGovern, versatile forward Jake Waterman and veteran forward Jack Darling, second on the club’s all-time goalkicking list, have all been elevated.
Yeo missed last week with soreness, McGovern has missed the past two games with rib issues while Waterman, who heads the Eagles goalkicking list this season with 41 goals, missed last week’s loss to St Kilda with an ITB complaint.
Darling, who has kicked 528 career goals in 293 games, was omitted a fortnight ago but resumes to bolster the club’s attacking capacity.
Making way for that quartet are utility player Jack Petruccelle, defenders Jamaine Jones and Alex Witherden, and young midfielder Campbell Chesser.
Petruccelle and Witherden have been named as emergencies alongside Dom Sheed.
