The West Coast Eagles have extended their relationship with premier partner AGL for a further two years.
The official shorts partner of the AFL team, AGL has built a long-standing partnership with the club after initially joining forces in 2017.
The expanded partnership will extend to support the West Coast Eagles’ AFLW team ahead of an exciting first season under new coach Daisy Pearce in 2024.
“AGL has been an incredible supporter of the West Coast Eagles since establishing their business in Western Australia, providing great value offers exclusively to our loyal members,” said Tony Haselhurst, West Coast’s General Manager Commercial Operations.
“Additionally, through their Perth Energy business, AGL is providing great value to a growing number of companies through the West Coast Eagles business network, which includes powering our home at Mineral Resources Park.
“We thank AGL for their ongoing support and also look forward to working with them across our AFLW program.”
Melanie Laing, AGL’s General Manager for Sales and Channels, said the partnership has helped embed AGL into the WA market over the past seven years.
“The partnership allows us to offer Eagles members and fans in WA great gas deals and it also opens the door for us to connect with businesses through the club’s strong business networks,” Laing said.
Giles Redmile, Head of Perth Energy, said the benefits of the West Coast Eagles partnership has further strengthened AGL’s offerings in WA.
“Since AGL and Perth Energy joined forces in 2019, we’ve been able to leverage the Eagles’ business network to connect with new gas, electricity and solar customers, as well as host and entertain our existing clients at Eagles games and events,” Redmile said.
