If the West Coast Eagles make any changes from a round two loss last week into an Easter Sunday battle with the Western Bulldogs the details will not be revealed until tomorrow.

The match committee has retained the same 23 who played against Greater Western Sydney last Sunday and added three players to an extended interchange bench – veteran Andrew Gaff, rookie Harvey Johnston and young key forward Jack Williams.

The three additions all have claims for an opportunity based on their performances for the WAFL Eagles in a practice match against Subiaco at Leederville Oval last Saturday.

Gaff accumulated more than his share of football playing midfield, Johnston was good on a wing and half-forward while Williams was a ubiquitous presence in attack, where he kicked three goals for the second successive week.

If Johnston makes the cut he will make his debut.

A clever ball user with good pace he was secured with pick No.49 in last year’s draft, the club’s fourth and final selection.

Unfortunately, another youngster in good form, Coby Burgiel, could not be considered after having his appendix removed on Wednesday.

Burgiel was among the best afield against Subiaco but will now miss several weeks as he recovers from surgery.
