West Coast youngster Tom Swift paid a visit to students at Cottesloe Primary School yesterday who had been working hard to fundraise for Eagles charity partner, the Cancer Council WA ("CCWA").

The primary school had a footy team dress-up day to raise money for CCWA, where staff and students made a donation to dress up in their favourite footy team colours for the day.

Cottesloe Primary School’s year seven leaders presented Swift with their donation cheque during their Thursday afternoon assembly for him to accept on behalf of the West Coast Eagles and CCWA.

Swift thanked the students for their fundraising efforts and left them with some inspirational words about the importance of their generosity.

“You might not realise just how significant your contribution is,” Swift said.

“Every little bit counts. You might be just one person or just one school, but you are making a huge difference,” he said.
