New Eagles recruit Amy Franklin has been named in the 24-player squad for Sunday’s pre-season game against the Bombers at Mineral Resources Park.

It will be Franklin’s first showing in the blue and gold, and a good test for her ahead of the round one match up with her former side, Fremantle.

Fans will see the return of four big pieces in the Eagles puzzle, with Kellie Gibson (ACL), Shanae Davison (ACL), Evie Gooch (wrist) and Lauren Wakfer (ACL) all named to play, after long stints on the sidelines due to injury.

Experienced leaders Emma Swanson, Dana Hooker, Jess Sedunary and Aisling McCarthy, along with newly appointed vice-captain Bella Lewis, will lead the way for an emerging West Coast team.

The inclusion of teenage talents Ella Roberts, Emily Elkington and Zoe Wakfer will provide an extra boost of youth and energy around the ground.
