The West Coast Eagles could go into Sunday’s game against St Kilda with an unchanged line-up, having merely added three players to the 23 who represented the club last week.

It is a far cry from the double-figure changes that were foisted upon the match when the first severe wave of COVID-19 hit the club in March and April.

Each of the players who took the field last week has been included in the squad, with defender Josh Rotham and midfielders Connor West and Greg Clark added to create a 26-man list.

The only slight concern last week was young ruckman Callum Jamieson who was subbed out in the last quarter with a tight adductor, allowing Samo Petrevski-Seton to be injected into the contest.

Jamieson has come through the week in good shape and has been named on the extended bench with Petrevski-Seton, defender Alex Witherden, midfielder Xavier O’Neill, rookie Jai Culley, Clark, West and Rotham.

Clark and Rotham both played in the WAFL last week when the Eagles were beaten by East Fremantle and were strong contributors while West has missed the last two games with an Achilles complaint.

The match committee will settle on the starting 22 tomorrow afternoon.
