Mineral Resources Park will host a further two matches this season, with rounds seven and eight to be played in Perth.

After a round six game against Collingwood on Sunday, the West Coast Eagles will have a six day break before battling it out with Richmond on Saturday, February 19 at 4:10pm.

Last time West Coast clashed with the Tigers was in round eight 2020, where they fought back from a 22-point deficit at half-time to narrowly lose the wet weather match by eight points.

Reigning Club Champion Bella Lewis was rewarded for effort with a Rising Star nomination, while Mikayla Bowen was one of the best afield for the day.

At this point, the Eagles’ engine room was made up of the club’s younger contingent of players, with the likes of skipper Emma Swanson and Dana Hooker out for the match, and Aisling McCarthy succumbing to injury early in the game.

After the round seven match against Richmond, West Coast will take on Brisbane at 2:10pm on Sunday, February 27.

This means Mineral Resources Park will host Indigenous Round for the second time – the first being a round five clash against Gold Coast in 2021 – with the club to reveal their inaugural AFLW Indigenous Guernsey this year.

The jumper will be worn across both matches, in rounds seven and eight, and is designed by Buffie Corunna to represent the club’s connection to community.

Ticketing information for round seven and eight will be available shortly.
