West Coast’s home RAC Derby next season has been locked in, with the Eagles set to host their crosstown rivals in round three.
It was revealed last week that West Coast would open its campaign at Optus Stadium against Gold Coast in round one on a Sunday afternoon, and the AFL has confirmed the Eagles’ home clash with Fremantle will be played on Sunday, April 3.
Bouncedown for the 54th RAC Derby is set for 4.20pm local time.
The Eagles hold a 32-21 head-to-head record against Fremantle.
West Coast’s full 2022 fixture, with a block of early games locked in with dates and times and the remainder ‘floating’ with only match-ups and venues confirmed, will be released by the AFL later on Thursday.
