How did you become an Eagle? Requested a trade from Western Bulldogs to West Coast in 2020.
Favourite NEW teammate so far? I’ve yet to hit the track with my new teammates so I’m looking forward to getting to know them, and playing alongside them. My favourite current player is Belinda Smith and hopefully she sees this because we are housemates this year and she might cook me a nice dinner for giving her a mention...
What is your favourite game day song? Anything the girls have playing in the dressing room pre-game.
What is your favourite thing to eat the night before or the day of a match? Pasta or pizza is a must the night before with some ice-cream afterwards.
Do you have any game day superstitions and if so, what? Need to do mindfulness with Jan (Cooper) pre-game and the day before I love going for a dip in the sea.
Personal goal for 2022? Stay injury free and continue to develop my midfield craft. As part of the leadership group, I am looking forward to learning from the other girls and helping to drive the standards for season 2022.
Who was your favourite player as a kid? I didn’t watch AFL growing up as it wasn’t something on my radar but my favourite Gaelic Footballer as a kid was Colm Cooper. I was lucky enough to have female role models and my favourite Ladies Gaelic Footballer was Juliet Murphy.
What player has had the biggest influence on your career? Ellie Blackburn is a player I look up to and turned to for advice when I was at Bulldogs, she is a selfless leader and someone I aspire to mirror my game off. Also at the start of my career, Lauren Spark from Bulldogs helped a huge amount in my transition from Ireland to Australia.
What’s your favourite sport that isn’t AFL? Gaelic Football.
What is your favourite football memory so far? Making my debut in the AFLW league in 2019 and getting my first win on the field with West Coast in 2021.
If you could be another player for a week, who would it be? Emma Swanson, she seems to have fun driving around in a fire truck during the week.
If you could attend any sporting event in the world, what would it be? The Olympics.
Favourite off-season hobby? Going back home to Ireland playing Gaelic Football and hanging out with my friends and family.
If they were going to make a movie based on your life, who would play you? Someone with an Irish accent.
Name three famous people you’d invite over for dinner? Ed Sheeran for a sing song, Michelle Obama, Michael Jordan.
What would you name your boat if you had one? Ships & Giggles.
