Established in 2018, the Perth Hornets are the only LGBTQIA+ football club in WA and pride themselves on being a safe space for members. The Hornets compete as part of the AFL 9’s competition in the Spring and Summer competitions.
The West Coast Eagles commitment to Diversity and Inclusion in football was further strengthened as we became official Community partners with the Perth Hornets. The Club has worked closely with the Hornets since 2022 running training sessions, supporting their Pride WA Fair Day stall and helping them remain sustainable.
Training is held at Empire Reserve, Wembley Downs on Monday nights from August through to April.
