The midfield bull bounced back with a bang in 2024, putting a frustrating run with injuries behind him to rediscover his imposing best. Yeo’s off-season trip to Qatar for specialist advice paid major dividends as the Eagles star managed 20 appearances on his way to his second runner-up finish in the John Worsfold Medal, to add to his 2017 and ’18 Club Champion awards. Yeo, who became a father in September, took young gun Harley Reid under his wing in his debut season, providing big-bodied protection for the No.1 draft pick and presence around the contest that has been the hallmark of his career. The 2018 premiership Eagle e-signed during the season for three more years until the end of 2027 to ensure he will finish his decorated career out west.
