The West Coast Eagles have recalled regular defenders Josh Rotham and Jackson Nelson among six changes for the Monday night fixture against North Melbourne at Optus Stadium.
Rotham and Nelson had played every game until being left out of last week’s match against Sydney at GMHBA Stadium but have earned an immediate return.
Also joining them in the team are champion wingman Andrew Gaff, who was a late withdrawal with a hand injury against the Swans, forward Liam Ryan, who resumes from suspension as well as utility player Brendon Ah Chee and Jack Petruccelle.
Petruccelle was the medical sub last week, but is now into the starting 22.
The sub will now come from one of young midfielders Luke Edwards, Xavier O’Neill, ruckman Nathan Vardy or young defender Luke Foley, all of whom have been listed as emergencies.
At this stage, Edwards, Vardy and Foley are among the players left out of the losing team from last week, along with injured trio Jack Redden (knee), Alex Witherden (groin) and Jamaine Jones (ankle).
