West Coast’s home RAC Derby in round seven has been confirmed as a Sunday afternoon clash after the AFL released fixture details for two more rounds.
The Eagles will host the Dockers in the 52nd clash with their crosstown rivals on Sunday, May 2 with bouncedown at 2.40pm at Optus Stadium.
That match will be eight days post West Coast’s trip to GMHBA Stadium in Geelong in round six.
The Eagles will then fly to the MCG for the first time this year to face Hawthorn on Sunday, May 9 at 1.10pm AEST (11.10am AWST) for their round eight clash.
Our @RACWA Derby is locked in, as well as our first trip to the MCG!

The remainder of the fixture’s dates and times remain unscheduled at this stage, with the League releasing those details in blocks due to border restrictions uncertainty.
“As a community we are still navigating through the effects of the Covid pandemic and releasing dates and times of matches in smaller blocks helps to provide certainty for fans wanting to attend matches,” AFL Head of Broadcasting and Scheduling Marcus King said.
“The dates and times were formulated having regard to current government advice and border restrictions and we believe we have been able to deliver an attractive fixture for fans both in venue and watching around the country.”
The AFL is aiming to confirm details for rounds nine and 10 - when the Eagles are due to host Adelaide and travel to western Sydney to take on the Giants - after round five is complete.
