The West Coast Eagles held its 2020 Junior Member End of Year Party last Tuesday, with Scitech overrun by almost 200 excitable fans and parents.
The junior members had exclusive use of the venue and were able to enjoy all their favourite Scitech exhibits, as well as the temporary Earth Matters: Rethink the Future experience.
In addition, shows ran regularly throughout the evening in the Science Theatre and Planetarium.
As always, Rick the Rock was on hand to interact with the guests, adding a West Coast Eagles flavour to the event.
Members had the opportunity to have their photo taken with the 2018 premiership cup, while the Freedom Fairies offered free face painting for guests.
AFLW players Courtney Guard, Parris Laurie, Ashlee Atkins, Melissa Caulfield and Hayley Bullas made a special appearance halfway through the event for a meet and greet with the young Eagles members.
The youngsters loved getting signatures and taking selfies with the players, and were keen to wish the players the best of luck ahead of the 2021 season.
The West Coast Eagles would like to thank Scitech’s staff and volunteers for their assistance in delivering this event for the third year in a row.
The club would also like to extend a big thank you to our junior members for sticking by us through the 2020 season.
