The 2020 AFL Premiership season has been unusual to say the least and that trend will continue from Wednesday when the league embarks on an ambitious endeavour to cram 33 matches into 20 consecutive days of football.
Fortunately our fixture will look relatively normal, but the compression of rounds 9-12 will have an impact on the timing of our team announcements for the next four weeks.
You would be used to checking your phone or refreshing your desktops at 4.20pm AWST on Thursdays – and 3pm AWST on Fridays for Sunday games – but for the next four rounds we will be announcing our final teams the day before our games.
