Pre-season heats up in Broome
The Eagles have hit the ground running at this year's AFL Community Camp
After arriving in the Kimberley haven yesterday afternoon, the players and staff enjoyed a few of the sights on famous Cable Beach and then engaged an excited throng of mainly children at Male Oval in the heart of the town.

Several hundred keen Eagles fans enjoyed the opportunity of having a kick with their heroes while a couple of Eagles players also caught up with family and friends, including recruits Josh Hill and Murray Newman.
One lucky youngster, Jackson Jones, won a signed West Coast Eagles jumper after entering a competition run on westcoasteagles.com.au. The junior fan was delighted to receive his prize from champion ruckman Dean Cox and brilliant forward Mark LeCras.
From there, it was off to a panel night which was hosted by star utility player Mark Nicoski. Again, an attentive audience received a rare insight into the club, courtesy of senior coach John Worsfold and about eight players who were rotated through a panel show, including Darren Glass, Quinten Lynch and Shannon Hurn.
This morning, several young local players will get the chance to participate in a training session with their AFL role models at Father McMahon Oval, while the rest of the day will be spent on community visits to schools, aged care centres and other activities.
The camp has been warmly embraced by the club and the day looms as another enjoyable outing for all involved.
