Eighteen junior football clubs enjoyed a special training session on Monday night, when West Coast Eagles players dropped by for a visit.

The West Coast squad divided and conquered, splitting up to cover junior clubs all over Perth and spend some time with WA’s future football stars.

The boys had a chat with the youngsters, shared some tips and tricks with footy drills, as well as talk about the importance of health and fitness.

West Coast ruckman Dean Cox, who visited Dalkeith Nedlands Junior Football Club, said it was a great night spent with the aspiring footballers.

“We had a great time tonight chatting to the kids about our own daily health and fitness routines,” Cox said.

“Getting out there and having a kick with them afterwards was great fun too,” he added.
