The West Coast Eagles Football Club will travel to Mandurah on Thursday, February 4 for a two-day trip as part of the 2010 Telstra AFL Community Camp program.
Since the initiative began in 2003, the Eagles have visited regional towns all across the state, including Albany, Kalgoorlie, Esperance, Geraldton, Narrogin, Karratha and Port Hedland, providing a rare opportunity for West Coast's country supporters to meet their heroes before the season proper gets underway.
The entire squad will arrive in Mandurah on the Thursday morning and will kick off their visit with trips to local schools before an open training session and autograph opportunity at Rushton Park in the afternoon.
Later that evening, the West Coast Eagles will be officially welcomed to Mandurah at a civic reception, and will then entertain locals with a panel night at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre.
The boys will be up bright and early on Friday morning to host a superclinic for local school children in Pinjarra, before paying a visit to aged care facilities and hospitals in the area.
West Coast supporters should stay tuned to westcoasteagles.com.au to confirm activity times and venues closer to the date.
