Masters Rookie Eagle members took advantage of the beautiful sunshine yesterday as they participated in the largest-ever Masters Rookie Eagles coaching clinic at Hale School.

Over 1200 children stormed two ovals and were taken through a number of training drills and fun exercises by West Coast players, proving that the future of Western Australian football is in safe hands.

The club’s youngest supporters and aspiring footballers got up close and personal with their favourite Eagles during a special signing session, enjoyed a Shrek bouncy castle, got their faces painted in blue and gold and grabbed a free Masters milk from the Masters cows on the way out.

Parents and siblings cheered on their loved ones from the sidelines and relaxed with picnics under leafy trees and marquees while past players from the East Perth Football Club put on a popular sausage sizzle.
Thanks go to Student Edge and volunteering students from Hale School for ensuring the success of the day’s activities.
