The West Coast Eagles are renowned throughout the AFL competition for our passionate supporters and the vast majority of attendees at our matches behave in accordance with the Patersons Stadium code of conduct by cheering the team on in good spirit.
We understand that football is an emotional game and sometimes these emotions can get the better of us; however, under no circumstances is it acceptable for patrons to make comments that may offend others or are abusive in nature to fellow patrons, players or umpires. It is everybody’s responsibility to ensure that match days are enjoyable for all attendees.

Under the code of conduct, the following specific behaviours are considered to be inappropriate:
- Excessive alcohol consumption
- Smoking inside the venue
- Racial taunts
- Bad language
- Offensive behaviour
- Opening an umbrella in seating areas as it is dangerous
- Bringing cans, glass, alcohol, prams, strollers and large eskies into the venue
- Video taping or recording at the venue
- Alcohol is NOT allowed to be taken in or out of Patersons Stadium at any time
The terms and conditions of a West Coast Eagles membership state that:
Upon becoming a member of the West Coast Eagles, you agree that you will abide by all conditions of membership, including the WA Football Commission’s code of conduct relating to behaviour while in attendance at Patersons Stadium. You remain responsible for the conduct of anyone utilising your membership benefits to attend matches. In the event that you provide others with access to your seats/s, any unacceptable conduct by them may have a negative impact on your membership benefits, in addition to penalties applied by the venue.
We strongly encourage you to notify Patersons Stadium event staff if any of the above behaviours occur, particularly if discriminatory, abusive, insulting, threatening or foul language is occurring in your vicinity.
