Have you ever dreamt about walking out onto Subiaco Oval, meeting the captains and tossing the coin in front of a packed stadium? Here’s your chance!
As part of our Round 15 Dig Deep Match Day in support of Cancer Council WA, the West Coast Eagles are auctioning off the once in a lifetime opportunity to toss the coin before the clash against St Kilda at Subiaco Oval on Sunday, July 12.
The successful bidder will meet the captains of both sides as well as receive four tickets for the match and a photograph to remember the special occasion.
The West Coast Eagles are calling on the people of Perth to Dig Deep and bid generously for this unique experience. All proceeds from this auction will go towards helping Cancer Council WA in their ongoing fight against cancer.
West Coast defender Beau Waters, the Eagles’ official ambassador for the Cancer Council, believes it’s important for everyone in Perth to join in the fight against cancer, not just elite athletes.
“There are also a lot of people out there who aren’t professional sports people who have the same impact on these people and have a strong charitable obligation. It’s an excellent cause and I’m very proud of people who do that,” said Waters.
